Transformational content… for society

The technical and practical barriers inhibiting mass digital content creation are decreasing all the time but world-class digitisation is still a costly business. Getting value for money has never been more important. But investment in digitisation is an investment in the UK's people, organisations and heritage, and there's a way to do it that not only helps to build links between groups but is also extremely cost-effective. When we reach out to people outside of our institutions to help with the process of creating digital content collections, we build new communities, teach new skills and provide a stepping stone for universities to engage with their communities.
